Sniff Sniff
I've got the sniffles! Kind of. The cough and sore throat, which seemed to be gearing up for full-blown misery, seem to be under control. Merely poking their heads out, saying "We *could* make you sick, but we won't". Let's hope it stays that way. Let's also hope that illnesses stop talking to me. Weird.
In other news: I went to my first sunday carvery for lunch yesterday, thanks to Paul, and we had a blast. I helped the boy pack (he was frantic like a miniature schnauzer) and gave him some echinacea for his cough and ickyness, which seems to be going around. He left this morning, incredibly early, and has only just arrived in the wonderful city of Boston for his little hiatus.
I got up early today, saw the sunrise, and went to Bicester to do some shopping. There wasn't much there though, so I came back and shopped here. Found some souvenir shirts for a good deal, so I bought several. I did alot of pleasure reading today as well, and it was quite enjoyable. I also majorly vegged and watched about three hours of television: a terrible tv movie about a bio-plague on a cruise ship called "Voyage of Terror," The Weakest Link, The Simpsons, and Fresh Prince.
Tonight I'm probably going to bed early. If I ever become sleepy--that's the problem with me. I'm tired in the afternoons and wide awake in the evenings! Grrr!
