A rundown of my exciting life

Yeah, yeah, I know, I must be thinking I'm too good to post regularly (it's been almost a week! eek!). Sorry bout that. I've been so busy, and not had my own computer, excuses, excuses... Let's see, Friday I spent all day inside, so I should have posted, since I was in front of the computer... Don't know why I didn't really. Saturday I went to Manchester (and back--that's alot of driving) to meet up with some people from IAM and had a good time. I'm listening to Me first and the gimme gimmes "I would walk 500 miles" and it makes me strangely reflective. I want a man that will walk 500 miles to be with me... Hmm, don't we all... Anyways, Saturday I got back really late, and Sunday I got back in Smeg's car and we drove to northeast wales, where his parents live. They were lovely, and fed us sunday dinner, and Monday we went shopping in Chester (which has tons of shops and markets and whatnot). Despite the fact that I had some trouble with my stomach in the early afternoon (I felt like I was being sawed in two, it wasn't pleasant, I hate cramps), so we spent a little while relaxing in McDonald's, but the day was still really fun and productive and I bought blue suede shoes on sale! They are lovely, take my word for it. And comfy, unless you wear slouchy socks with them, and then you get blisters :(. Yesterday I went to Brighton to do a little shopping, and came back with some leather cording for a necklace and that's all. Oh well, I think I'll finish up christmas shopping here in Oxford, since I know my way around a little better. I still need to buy for my parents.

Today will most likely be spent indoors. Smeg's mum was kind enough to let me borrow her sewing machine for a project, so I'll probably get on that, plus I've got quality time with the computer to catch up on :). I'd also like to get some pictures with Smeg's digital camera that he said I could borrow, so I might leave the house to do that, who knows. Honestly, I feel a little blah today, so I don't know what I'll accomplish.
